Landmark's exclusive society, Friends of the Vineyard, is pleased to announce the March 2010 release of 20 additional memberships. Formerly limited to 100 founding members, the club which has already sold out its founding memberships, gives "Friends" all the perks of a wine country lifestyle, from vine row adoption and personalized wine labels to estate hospitality privileges and insider access to Landmark's intricate winemaking process.
This society is centered around our estate vineyard, Espirt du Rhone. The vineyard has been planted to 65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 13% Mourvèdre, 5% Counoise, and about 2% Viognier. These vines were sourced from Château de Beaucastel via Tablas Creek, a joint venture between wine importer Robert Haas and the Perrin family of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
As a member of the Friends of the Vineyard, you become a part of this exciting endeavoir and share in the life of this vineyard. As a Friend, you will adopt a row of vines. Your name will be at the head of your row of vines on a plaque. Friends are the exclusive recipients of the wine from this vineyard. Each bottle will be labeled with your name and packed in six bottle numbered wooden cases. |
