Our Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 4th welcomed more than 300 guests from the Bay Area and as far away as the East Coast! We greeted every guest with a glass of Damaris Chardonnay and Grand Detour Pinot Noir as they arrived. With the weather hitting 96 degrees, the chilled Damaris Chardonnay was wildly popular.
The famed San Francisco Farmer's Market Roli Roti
was onsite with their amazing rotisserie truck. Their porchetta sandwich with onion marmalade, arugula, and grey sea salt served on Acme sourdough bread melted in your mouth. They were also serving their classic rotisserie chicken with rosemary French fingerling potatoes. Hog Island Oyster Company
was shucking their Tomales Bay Sweetwater Oysters which were absolutely divine with the Lorenzo Chardonnay. Valley Ford Cheese Company
was sampling a number of their farm fresh cheese. Delicious!
Guests enjoyed the majestic views from our courtyard while sipping wine and listening to the Carlos Herrera Band. Many guests enjoyed playing our new corn hole game while others took advantage of our vineyard side Bocce court. We also offered horse-drawn wagon rides through the vineyards with the colorful and knowledgeable Vineyard Guide Pat Prather.
Thank you to all our Wine Society members and guests who joined us! Our delicious and ever-so refreshing Pinot Gris sold out that weekend. If you didn’t get to try it, you can find it again in the spring. We had an amazing time and can’t wait for next year! Cheers! Visit our Facebook page to see more photos from the event.
