Our Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 4th welcomed more
than 300 guests from the Bay Area and as far away as the East
Coast! We greeted every guest with a glass of Damaris Chardonnay
and Grand Detour Pinot Noir as they arrived. With the weather
hitting 96 degrees, the chilled Damaris Chardonnay was wildly
The famed San Francisco Farmer's Market
was onsite with their amazing rotisserie truck. Their porchetta
sandwich with onion marmalade, arugula, and grey sea salt served
on Acme sourdough bread melted in your mouth. They were also
serving their classic rotisserie chicken with rosemary French
Hog Island Oyster Company
was shucking their Tomales Bay Sweetwater Oysters which were
absolutely divine with the Lorenzo Chardonnay.
Valley Ford Cheese Company
was sampling a number of their farm fresh cheese. Delicious!
Guests enjoyed the majestic views from our courtyard while sipping
wine and listening to the Carlos Herrera Band. Many guests enjoyed
playing our new corn hole game while others took advantage of our
vineyard side Bocce court. We also offered horse-drawn wagon rides
through the vineyards with the colorful and knowledgeable Vineyard
Guide Pat Prather.
Thank you to all our Wine Society members and guests who joined
us! Our delicious and ever-so refreshing Pinot Gris sold out that
weekend. If you didn’t get to try it, you can find it again in the
spring. We had an amazing time and can’t wait for next year!
