About the Wine
Representing our ninth vintage for this program, the 2022 Pinot Gris was again sourced entirely from our Hop Kiln Estate Vineyard on Westside Road. Having complete control of the farming practices at this vineyard in the heart of the Russian River Valley gives us a consistent source of quality grapes. Our patience in waiting for the desired ripeness and maturity provides you with a wine with great aromatics and texture.

Appearance
Pale straw color in the glass with silver highlights.
Aroma
Aromatic with ripe yellow peach, nectarine, sweet lemon, lime, and Honeycrisp apple.
Palate
On entry, the palate shows notes of citrus and stone fruit followed by a floral midpalate with notes of jasmine, honeysuckle, and subtle candied ginger. The moderately long finish is complex, textured with mineral notes, balanced acidity, and a lingering mix of fruit, floral, and herbal notes.
